After an earlier plan to acquire it fell through, Luna Park appears to have a new owner.

According to a sign posted in the Valencia Street restaurant’s window Monday evening, Luna Park’s liquor license is being transferred to Thin Place, Inc., a company linked to Mission Beach Cafe. Secretary of State records list Mission Beach Cafe’s address, 198 Guerrero Street, as that of the corporation’s. According to California Alcoholic Beverage Control records, William Clarke, Mission Beach’s owner, is Thin Place’s officer and stock holder.
