Weird crime: Thief threatens woman, takes off with oxygen tank

A man was arrested Sunday night after he threatened a woman with a lighter and stole her portable oxygen tank, police said.
According to authorities, the 49-year-old suspect knocked on the woman’s door, on the 500 block of South Van Ness Ave. near 16th Street, around 10 p.m. When the woman opened the door, he pulled her hair and held the lighter to her face so she would let him in, police said. The man was arrested and the oxygen tank was recovered.
