Toshio Hirano retiring, will play second goodbye show

It looks like those of us who hoped that Toshio Hirano’s goodbye announcement earlier this month only meant a long break may be out of luck. Turns out that the country crooner is retiring. Above is a screenshot from his bass player Kenan O’Brien’s Facebook page.
Hirano plays at the Rite Spot Cafe tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. and just announced a second goodbye show at Amnesia on Monday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. See him while you still can.
